1:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Art Totality presents "Clay Art":  Featuring Mabel Morris July 31, 2010 (1-3:30 p.m.).  An additional session that day will become available if the first session fills (4-6:30 p.m.).

Art Totality is hosting "Clay Art", Saturday July 31, 2010 from 1-3:30 p.m.  Advanced family/friend tickets are required for this event located at Deming Park's Torner Center.

Take a break from the hot sun and join us at Deming Park's Torner Center.

Together as friends and family we will make beautiful clay masterpieces.

This event is sure to capture the essence of what it is like to be a clay artist both in sculpting and pottery wheel.

Mabel Morris' vast range of experience offers fun techniques that will make our first or experienced impressions with clay, very exciting.  Her career in clay began much like an Art Totality event.  Mabel always wanted to try working with clay, then an opportunity arouse for her to try it when her daughter was in Girl Scouts.  Thirteen years later, Mabel finds herself still loving the art of working with clay.  She is currently both an accomplished artist and instructor out at the Torner Center.  Her work is simply breath taking and will be on display as well as for sale at the conclusion of the event.

Families and friends have their choice on what they want to do with clay; throw a pot on the pottery wheel (recommended 10 years or older) or sculpt (all ages).  Some may want to do more than one piece or mix what they learn for the day.

"Entire families, building community one art project at a time."

Art Totality's mission is to build community one art project at a time.  A community's most important asset is family.  That is why we take great care in organizing and creating events that include all family members.  We call our approach to art projects "team building art".  Families work as teams to complete one project.  Art Totality is about including all of the arts, all family members and all communities.  For additional information about Art Totality or our events visit www.arttotality.com
