Live Music Matters Presented by First Financial, is a production of Arts Illiana to promote and exhibit live music in different venues throughout the month of September. Serving as an intensive promotional vehicle and a weekly outdoor concert series, Live Music Matters shows off the very best in music that the valley has to offer, giving this art form its due justice.
The series of staged concerts include locations such as the Altrusa Chili Cook Off, the Terre Haute mini-marathon, Arts Illiana, Little Italy Festival, the downtown Farmers’ Market, downtown art galleries, Clabber Girl, the downtown Crossroads Plaza, and several other venues.
Live Music Matters benefits both local performing artists and the greater Terre Haute community by raising awareness of the arts while adding interest to the developing downtown area and area events.
