Gaslight Art Colony Showcases the Photography of Tom Dagley

Beginning Saturday, August 18th Gaslight Art Colony will be filled with the photography of Tom Dagley.  A reception for the artist will be held from 6-9 p.m. that evening.  The show will be open during regular gallery hours through September 8, 2012.  The same evening Marshall Public Library, located just one block east, will open their exhibit showcasing art from Lilly Oncology On canvas:  Expressions of a Cancer Journey.  This exhibit will be open during regular library hours through the month of August.  Both of these receptions are free and open to the public.

TomDagley began taking photographs in 1978 using a simple SLR film camera.  It did not take long with Tom's eye for composition that he began to show and sell his photographic artistry. Much of his work consists of images that can be seen in our daily lives but are often missed.

Tom's images have won numerous awards and published in national magazines.

Lilly Oncology on Canvas is a biennial art competition and exhibition that honors the journeys people face when confronted with a cancer diagnosis. Lilly Oncology on Canvas is presented by Lilly Oncology, in partnership with the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS).
