Author James E. Rady Book Signing - A Time to Forgive

Author James E. Rady will be at the Putnam County Public Library on Saturday, April 21, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to sign his current book, A Time to Forgive. Born on a farm in Indiana, Rady was raised in the community of Roachdale, where he at one time owned a grocery store. He retired from a career in Indiana schools and as a Major from a 25-year military career of active and reserve duty.
A Time to Forgive is a heart-warming story of the power of forgiveness with the major action centered around the Indiana communities of Roachdale, Rockville, Crawfordsville, Greencastle, and the IU campus of Bloomington. As the story of injured war hero Charlie Clay unfolds, the reader finds what it takes to forgive and find peace of mind and happiness once again. This is the 88 year-old Rady’s second book.
Love Finds a Way, a Civil War story, was released in 2008. He has also published three books of poetry. Rady and his wife, Roberta, currently reside in Lima, Ohio. Rady’s books are available at the Putnam County Public Library. Copies of both books, A Time to Forgive and Love Finds a Way, will be available on-site the day of the signing for purchase. Both novels are also available at Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, through independent book sellers and on Kindle, iPad and Nook.
