Tuesday, April 17, A Celebration of Authors: Claudia Mills and Student Authors from Deer Meadow & Ridpath, 6 p.m. Author Claudia Mills will share some of her own childhood writing, talk about how to take real events and shape them into stories, and address the importance of reading to become a good writer. Fourteen first & second grade student authors will then read the stories and poetry they are preparing for publication. The evening will conclude with a read-aloud by Claudia from a few of her books. Several of her children’s books will be available on-site for purchase and signing.
Saturday, April 21, Author James E. Rady Book Signing, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. James Rady will sign his current book, A Time to Forgive, a heart-warming story of the power of forgiveness with the major action centered around the Indiana communities of Roachdale, Rockville, Crawfordsville, Greencastle, and the IU campus of Bloomington. Rady's first novel Love Finds a Way is a Civil War story published in 2008. Both books will be available for purchase and signing.
Saturday, April 21, Greencastle and DePauw Community Job and Career Fair, 12 – 2 p.m.
